My name is Safa Ahmed.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Media and Journalism and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Within my major, I split my focus between writing/reporting and documentary/photojournalism. I also have several years of experience in sales writing, especially when it comes to Amazon and brand creation.
Okay, but who are you beyond your resume?
When I’m not glued to my laptop, or trying to find a new editor to pitch to, or spending my last pennies on Wendy’s fries, I’m ghosting in front of movie theaters while waiting for the next Marvel/Disney/Pixar film to drop.
When I’m not doing that, I’m ghosting around Target, buying Funko Pop keychains and Americone Dream ice cream. And when I’m not doing that, I’m coming up with my own stories, both in photography and in words.
